ABOUT ME
I am a 2025 Textiles graduate from Edinburgh College of Art at the University of Edinburgh. Sustainability and responsible design are at the core of my work, taking full responsibility for my design choices. I am passionate about plant-based textiles and have a deep appreciation for organic, traceable materials.
Growing up in the North East of England with Scottish heritage, my work often explores local history, storytelling, and the expression of narratives. Flax and linen are materials with which I have developed a strong connection through my recent textile projects. These materials are ones I will always love, appreciate, and celebrate in my work.

The Highlands and Islands.
I have spent several summers exploring the islands off the west coast of Scotland and the Highlands. During these trips, I found inspiration for building colour and print, drawing from the many plants and flowers that serve as the subject matter in my illustrations and prints. In my recent work, I have enjoyed using plants native to these locations to naturally dye textiles and create screen prints.
The colours found in the Highlands are beautifully harmonious yet contrasting, often unseen by many. My work emphasises the intense, hidden beauty of the Scottish landscape and its unique character.
